I’m wondering in case I attach GPS-information (RTK-NMEA) to the UM-7. Will it be used for AHRS as well oder will it be passed trough only. The question behind is: Will be there an improvement for dynamic yaw/heading like on the UM-9?
Thanks,
David
Hi Jeff,
On the UM7, the GPS data is just passed-through. On the GP9, it is used to improve the attitude estimate.
Caleb,
I assume is true for the UM6?
David,
What RTK-NMEA sentence are you using? I’ve been considering how to feed RTK data to my UM6 and am curious. Of course, if it dosen’t actually use it, then I won’t bother.
Cheers
Jim
