CH Robotics specializes in the development of sensors for mobile robots and for industrial applications. One of the biggest challenges involved in making intelligent machines is sensing - without good information about their environment, machines are essentially blind. It is no wonder that robots are notorious for driving off ledges and running into obstacles. They can't see very well.

There are a variety of sensors available that begin to solve the sensing problem, but in general they are prohibitively expensive to everyone but well-funded research labs. CH Robotics aims to fill a void in the market for a line of inexpensive but effective sensors.

Currently, CH Robotics sells inertial sensors, but we are actively developing laser range products, ultrasonic sensors, and vision sensors. We intend to develop drop-in solutions to simplify robotic sensing, including both hardware and software.
